Our Market Street Mission – Sussex County location is a 14-bed hospitality room serving the community by meeting immediate needs. We provide food and safe places to sleep, along with services that address long-term struggles like addiction and homelessness. Located at 274 Spring Street in Newton, we offer the following services free of charge:

Hospitality Room

Our hospitality room provides men with a safe place to sleep overnight, which opens at 4:00 PM at the Market Street Mission – Sussex County, 274 Spring Street, Newton, NJ. Please call (973) 538-5854 for availability.

Sunday Dinner Service 

Sunday dinner meals are FREE and open to the public at the Market Street Mission – Sussex County, 274 Spring Street, Newton, NJ.

Dinner: Sunday @ 6:00-7:00 PM

Our showers at 274 Spring Street, Newton, NJ are open to the public from 1:00-3:00 PM every day.

Recovery

Addiction Recovery

Recognized by Newsweek Magazine as one of America’s Best Addiction Treatment Centers – 2023, the residential Life Change addiction recovery program at the Market Street Mission, 9 Market Street, Morristown, NJ is a free program for men struggling with addiction. Addiction and substance abuse problems do not discriminate by age, race or social background. We aim to provide an addiction recovery plan that will guide men in making a “Life Change” by giving them the tools to pursue long term sobriety. Our curriculum includes 12-step work, individual & group counseling, academic achievement and job training.

Guests at our Sussex County location in need of drug and alcohol recovery services will be referred to our Life Change Program in Morristown.
