Christmas at the Mission

Market Street Mission Program

Christmas is a special time at the Mission, and we have a few ways for you to contribute to our celebrations through our Amazon wish lists!

Christmas Toy Shop

Market Street Mission Program
Market Street Mission

Every year, we offer the residents in our men’s addiction recovery program the opportunity to pick out gifts for their children, grandchildren, or any children in their family. We decorate our chapel for Christmas and set out all the gifts so our residents can choose what they’d like to give to their kids! It’s a great way for our residents to stay connected to their families while they go through our program, and it allows them to start rebuilding bridges and restoring relationships with their children.

If you’d like to buy gifts for our Toy Shop, check out this link. Gifts can be sent directly to the Mission through Amazon, or dropped off at 9 Market Street in Morristown. The deadline to send Toy Shop gifts is December 7th.

Men’s Christmas Eve Chapel Celebration

Market Street Mission

We want to make sure the residents in our recovery program feel celebrated and loved, especially at Christmastime! Each year we hold a special Christmas Eve chapel service where we hand out gifts to each of our residents.

If you would like to contribute Christmas gifts for the men in our program, check out this link. (The shirts in this wish list can be purchased in any color or pattern available). Gifts can be sent directly to the Mission through Amazon, or dropped off at 9 Market Street in Morristown. The deadline to send resident Christmas gifts is December 18th.

We accept Dunkin Donuts Gift Cards ($5-$10) to give out at Christmas as well, which can be dropped off at the Mission (9 Market Street in Morristown).

Thank you so much for helping us make this Christmas season a special time for our residents and their families! God bless you!
