Congratulations to Andrew on his one year of sobriety! Andrew has been a wonderful part of The Market Street Mission Thrift Store team and it is a pleasure to witness his progress over the past few months. The Market Street Mission is proud of our addiction recovery program and the men who are seeking help through our “Life Change Program.”
An important part of our addiction recovery program is the work therapy aspect where many of the men in the program are able to provide their skills service to the Market Street Mission Thrift Store in various tasks and responsibilities. The work therapy process assists in rebuilding strength, focus and positive work habits. Our team enjoys the community of a faith based recovery process which helps to build a strong foundation in dealing with the struggles of addiction and providing a positive future lifestyle.
The Market Street Mission Thrift Store helps provide the clothing and basic needs of the men in program as well as the over night guests at the Market Street Mission. Your donations to the store go a long way in helping our various programs. All proceeds that are sold at our store go to fund the various projects that the Market Street Mission is involved with throughout the state. It is with your generosity and support that we are able to help so many of the community year after year.
