Our Market Street Mission – Jersey Shore location serves the community by meeting immediate needs like food and shelter and addressing long-term struggles like addiction and homelessness. Located at 701 Memorial Drive in Asbury Park, we offer the following services free of charge:
Emergency Shelter
Overnight shelter for men opens at 4:00 PM at the Market Street Mission – Jersey Shore, 701 Memorial Drive, Asbury Park, NJ. Please call (732) 988-0242 for shelter availability.
Daily Meal Service
Dinner meals are FREE and open to the public at the Market Street Mission – Jersey Shore, 701 Memorial Drive, Asbury Park, NJ.
Dinner: Every day @ 6:00 PM
Personal Hygiene
Our Welcome Room at 701 Memorial Drive, Asbury Park, NJ opens at 4:00 PM, and our showers are open to the public every day.
Addiction Recovery
Recognized by Newsweek Magazine as one of America’s Best Addiction Treatment Centers – 2023, the residential Life Change addiction recovery program at the Market Street Mission – Jersey Shore, 701 Memorial Drive, Asbury Park, NJ, is a free program for men struggling with addiction. Addiction and substance abuse problems do not discriminate by age, race or social background. We aim to provide an addiction recovery plan that will guide men in making a “Life Change” by giving them the tools to pursue long term sobriety. Our curriculum includes 12-step work, individual & group counseling, academic achievement and job training.
Sober Houses
At the Market Street Mission – Jersey Shore, we believe that community, accountability and time are crucial factors in pursuing recovery. We offer graduates of our Life Change Program the opportunity to apply for housing in one of our sober houses, which keeps them within reach of resources for ongoing recovery.
Chapel Services
The Mission holds daily chapel services at 701 Memorial Drive, Asbury Park, NJ. Community guests are welcome to attend.

Code Blue Warming Center
Our Welcome Room at 701 Memorial Drive, Asbury Park, NJ serves as a daytime Code Blue warming center for community guests when the outside temperature reaches 32 degrees or less.
