07 Dec Christmas Activities at the Mission
December is a busy month here at the Mission! Here are a few activities we have planned for our Life Change Program residents and community guests to celebrate the season.
- Christmas Toy Shop: Each December, we host a Christmas Toy Shop in our chapel where the residents and alumni of our Life Change Program can pick out free gifts for their children, grandchildren, or any significant children in their lives. This helps to restore family relationships while men are pursuing recovery in our program, and it provides extra support to the families of those who have graduated in the past!
- Christmas Chapel: At Christmastime we have a special chapel service, where our program residents each receive a bag of gifts to help remind them how loved and valued they are.
- Christmas Dinner: On Christmas evening, we host a festive dinner for all our residents and community guests, which is open to anyone who would like to join us! We love to invite people in to celebrate with our Mission family.
