2023 Jersey Shore Rescue Mission 5K Race & Family Walk

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 6^th annual Jersey Shore Rescue Mission 5K Race & Family Walk on Saturday, October 28^th! It was an absolutely beautiful day for the race, and we are so grateful to all the runners, walkers, spectators, and volunteers who made the event a success.

This year we started on the Ocean Grove boardwalk, and we are grateful for Ocean Grove’s hospitality. We were also blessed by The Downstairs Kitchen, an outreach ministry of St. Paul’s Ocean Grove Church, who donated a delicious carb bar for all our participants and volunteers!

We had 329 people sign up to run and walk in this year’s race, including 16 teams! We also had 90 volunteers who helped the day run smoothly. Beyond registration costs, attendees donated $2,900 directly to the Mission to support our services like community meals, overnight shelter for men, and our men’s addiction recovery program. We are so thankful for everyone’s generosity!
